Emergency Controls

When the emergency stop is active, no automatic bids will be placed on any watchlist item, regardless of individual auto-snipe settings.
Spending Limits
Hard ceilings — auto-bid stops when limits are reached
Leave blank for no daily limit. This is a hard stop for new bidding once reached.
Leave blank for no weekly limit. Existing bids already placed remain active.
Leave blank for no monthly limit. New bids stop when this cap is hit.

These are hard limits. If a new bid would exceed one, the app should skip the new bid. Existing bids already submitted stay active until eBay resolves them or you manage them manually.
Global vs Watchlist Rules
Use the right level so rules do not conflict
Global settings should own:
Emergency stop, total spending ceilings, max simultaneous bidding across the whole app, email notifications, and data/export controls.
Watchlists should own:
Auction timing, execution strategy, duplicate prevention, listing type, item conditions, watch-only vs bidding mode, and priority.
This is the one bidding-count rule that still stays global because it is cumulative across every watchlist.
